Full Job Description
As the Manager, HR Technology you will lead the operational delivery of HR technologies with an emphasis on the Workday platform. This role is accountable for configuration, and business process optimization in support of HR's service delivery to Ledcor.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Technology & Project Delivery, this role partners with Human Resources Communities of Expertise, Business HR and Labour Relations, Business & Employee Services, Information Systems, and Operations teams to ensure alignment, support key initiatives, and provide effective stewardship of these important investments.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Workday, including incident management, troubleshooting, data requests, outages, integrations, security changes, and enhancement intake; serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS issues
  • Manage Workday tenant refreshes and renewals, Community and developer access, training approvals, and the day-to-day relationship with Workday Success Plans (WSP), ensuring effective use of available services and resources
  • Partner with HR Communities of Expertise, Business HR, Labour Relations, IS, Finance, Operations, and external vendors to align HR technology capabilities with business needs; manage vendor performance, contracts, escalations, roadmaps, and technology impacts
  • Establish, apply, and monitor HR technology governance, security protocols, cybersecurity requirements, and standards to ensure the integrity, security, and appropriate use of HR systems and data
  • Champion data governance and standards by maintaining data definitions and metadata, monitoring data quality, resolving data issues, and promoting consistent data practices across HR technology
  • Lead enhancement intake, prioritization, release management, and continuous improvement for Workday and other HR-supported systems, including JDE and ServiceNow, ensuring changes deliver value and align with technology roadmaps
  • Oversee Workday HCM configuration across Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Talent & Performance, and Business Process Frameworks; establish operational standards, KPIs, documentation practices, and performance monitoring for HR Technology
  • Lead, Plan and prioritize the HR Technology Analysts' work, establish clear goals and accountabilities, monitor team performance and deliverables, and coach and develop team members through ongoing guidance, knowledge sharing, and development planning


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics/Statistics, Finance, Economics, Management Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in HR technology
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Workday configuration and governance, including at least 3 years of relevant people leadership experience
  • Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing HR Technology teams
  • Strong understanding of HR operating models, Centres of Expertise (CoEs), and shared services environments
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across business and technology teams
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective technology solutions


Compensation

$99,600.00 - $136,950.00

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
