Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers and engineering managers in pre- and post-sales costing and design, focusing on physical security and integrated systems.
- Conduct regular reviews of the engineering backlog to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
- Perform engineering resource planning to align resources and skillsets with sales and operational targets, particularly in the areas of physical security and access control systems.
- Implement effective measures and processes for recruiting and retaining engineering staff with expertise in security technologies.
- Oversee the development and implementation of design and manufacturing standards for engineering and pre-fabrication, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as UL 294 and NFPA 731.
- Lead client tours at the Engineering Center of Excellence in Elmsford, NY, showcasing advanced security solutions and engineering capabilities.
- Establish goals and targets for engineering staff and generate reports to measure performance against these objectives.
- Oversee training programs for engineers, with a focus on the latest security technologies and industry best practices.
- Manage resource allocation on projects based on individual engineers' skill sets, particularly in areas such as video surveillance, intrusion detection, and access control.
Skills/Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of design/build engineering processes and construction submittal packages, with a focus on physical security systems.
- Extensive technical expertise in engineering and physical security standards, including knowledge of IP-based security systems and cybersecurity principles.

Education and Experience:

- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
- Minimum of ten years of relevant experience required, with a focus on physical security and integrated systems.
