Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Senior Director on planning announcements for PLE and weekly match rollouts
  • Propose match and show promotion ideas to Creative Writing and WWE Media teams
  • Coordinate with various teams to align with Creative Writing priorities during executions
  • Enhance talent social media promotions leading up to PLEs
  • Monitor and ensure alignment of Superstars' portrayal across all WWE media platforms
  • Support editorial coverage across WWE.com, YouTube, and other outlets.

Full Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as main liaison between WWE Media and WWE Creative Writing teams

  • Represent WWE Media in production and relevant creative writing meetings and develop effective communication processes for Creative Writing priorities to relevant WWE Media team members

  • Organize promotional schedule for upcoming matches and create weekly tracking communications to deliver across departments

  • Work with Senior Director, Social Editorial Coverage to plan PLE and weekly match announcement rollouts

  • Pitch match and show promotion project ideas to Senior Director, Social Editorial Coverage and WWE Media team and WWE Creative Writing

  • Coordinate with road producers, social and editorial teams to execute against Creative Writing team priorities

  • Work with Manager, Talent Social Media to enhance promotion across talent social pages during PLE buildups

  • Monitor portrayal of Superstars across WWE.com profiles, WWE social media handles and promotional graphics to ensure it aligns with current creative writing directives

  • Assist editorial team with show coverage across WWE.com, YouTube and other platforms

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in social media programming, preferably in the sports, entertainment and/or television industries

  • Background in content creation, copywriting and collaborating in the social media space with a proven ability to identify successful content

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required

  • Experience working with content, social management and publishing systems (Emplifi, Grabyo, Smartly, etc.) preferred

  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with exceptional time management and multitasking skills, with an ability to thrive under pressure

  • Working knowledge of WWE shows and talent strongly preferred
