Duties:Under the supervision of the Vice President, Marketing & Engagement, support the overall objectives of the Joni and Friends Marketing department. Perform duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Manage Joni and Friends websites and platforms
- Manage design/redesign of webpages and day-to-day content updates on Joni and Friends websites, ensuring a modern and accessible human-centered design
- Lead the Digital Experience team in end-to-end management of events across digital platforms, in collaboration with Programs, USM, Data Analytics, and IT
- Execute strategies for webpage structure, content, and accessibility, aligning with SEO goals
- Optimize the internal web content and event submission processes for the Marketing team
- Maintain the Website Style Guide, adapting web designs and images for new channels, services, and devices to ensure consistency and accessibility
- Manage integration of fundraising, ecommerce, and digital marketing platforms
- Manage the design, creation, and optimization of ministry fundraising and donation pages in GoFundMe Pro or similar platform
- Manage the integration of e-commerce platforms, including WooCommerce, Sage Intacct, and Boomi
- Manage platform integration and digital journey optimization in HubSpot or similar platform
- Design and refine Salesforce Experience Cloud portal content to ensure a seamless experience between digital platforms for volunteers and donors
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to update digital content for new protocols, communicating best practices and new opportunities
- Lead user experience design strategies
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance digital constituent journeys, increasing traffic, engagement, and retention
- Lead team in conducting user research to identify and analyze user pain points and behaviors
- Manage the creation of prototype designs and conduct usability testing to ensure effectiveness
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to continuously measure and optimize design strategies; employ ideation techniques to generate innovative solutions
- Monitor analytics and optimize engagement across platforms
- Lead team in the development of benchmarks and impact measurement
- Track contributions, sales, and engagement by source and provide analysis to upper management
- Lead teams in A/B testing to increase conversions and revenue
- Communicate results and optimization recommendations to upper management
- Coach and develop the Digital Experience team
- Provide clear, strategic direction and mentorship to team members and contract staff to achieve ministry goals
- Identify training needs and create development plans to nurture team member strengths and improve skills
- Promote a positive and collaborative team environment within the team and across divisions
- Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor to support department and organizational needs
Qualifications:
- Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith
- Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry
- 7+ years of website and digital platform management experience required; 4+ years leading a team
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Skilled in web and digital marketing tools including WordPress, GA4, Salesforce Nonprofit, GoFundMe Pro, HubSpot, Sage Intacct, Boomi, and Asana
- Good interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to effectively organize and prioritize a wide range of daily tasks with varied deadlines are necessary
- Must be detail-oriented, committed to accuracy, and team player who is flexible and able to work independently
- Must have a strong sense of confidentiality
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Experience in leading projects, guiding teams through challenges, and making critical decisions
- Understanding of Christian ministry and specifically Joni and Friends is desirable
Physical Requirements:This position primarily involves sedentary work in an office setting. The employee must be able to sit for extended periods, operate a computer and other standard office equipment, communicate clearly in person and over the phone, and occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach files and supplies. The role may also require occasionally lifting or carrying items up to 20 pounds.
Work is performed in a professional office setting with occasional movement throughout the facility. The environment is typically quiet to moderate in noise level, with standard lighting and temperature conditions. Employees are expected to maintain safety and ergonomic awareness while performing all tasks.

Compensation: This position will be located at our office in Agoura Hills, and we work in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Wednesday and Friday are remote working days. We will not consider candidates that are not available to work in the Agoura Hills office. The position pays $86,000 - $95,000 per year, and it is an exempt position.
