Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager in New York, New York.

Work You'll Do
Participate in the creation of innovative and transformative technology solutions for clients that address their next generational needs by formulating mathematical or simulation models of problems. Create effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives for clients through development business methods and procedures within Financial Services Industries. Participate in delivery of payments content experience across the payments processing, acquiring, and gateway sectors of the industry. Conduct client advisory on debit, credit, ach, wire, check, prepaid, and emerging methods of business to business and business to consumer payments by analyzing information obtained from management to conceptualize and define operational problems, evaluating them, studying alternative courses of action and recommending solutions. Coordinate vendor assessment for content management of financial services companies by creating vendor selection framework, conducting demos, road-mapping, and pricing assessment. Drive engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while handling risks and quality of delivery. Guide proposal development and contribute to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities through application of time and cost networks to plan, control, and review large projects. Performing role of counselor and coach by educating staff in the application of mathematical models, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field and 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 3 years of experience in the following:
  • Driving the creation of innovative and transformative solutions for clients within the Financial Services Industry utilizing Human-Centered Design (HCD), Customer Journey Mapping, Ethnographic Field;
  • Research, Return on Investment (ROI) Analysis, Voice of the Customer (VoC), Strategic Foresight, Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) Analysis, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM);
  • Managing teams that aim to provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models, utilizing Design Thinking Sprints, Business Model Canvas, Innovation Workshops, Executive Interviews, Collaborative Whiteboarding, Jira, Confluence, and Change Impact Assessment (CIA);
  • Managing day to day interactions with executives and sponsors, and developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers;
  • Leading the quality assurance (QA) for client's deliverables, including Risk and Issue Registers, Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) Logs, Delivery Milestone Dashboards, and Change Control Boards (CCB) per business specifications and agreed timelines;
  • Utilizing Business Process Modeling (BPM), Microsoft (MS) PowerPoint, Visio, and Lucidchart to oversee scalable and available designs to provide technical solutions;
  • Working across phases of the Agile Methodology and Product Development Lifecycle, including product roadmap, backlog refinement, backlog prioritization, Epic, Feature, and User Story Mapping (EFUS), Acceptance Criteria Definition, and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for product and strategy insight solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Overseeing project management frameworks Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid Delivery Model to help clients optimize and maintain applications to maximize Return on Investment (ROI); and
  • Transforming and visualizing data, evaluating business processes, and drawing insights from analysis for purposes of developing solutions for client challenges, utilizing Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards, Balanced Scorecard Concept (BSC), Objectives and Key Results (OKR), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
