This Work from Home position requires that you live and will perform the duties of the position; within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (Our hospitals are located in the following states: FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA).

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager, Data Analytics and Integration role is a key member of the Parallon Information Technology team with the responsibility for overall support and management of Data Engineering/Data Integration technologies. This position will build, lead, and motivate a team of support professionals to deliver excellent technical and non-technical support with outstanding customer service and timeliness, while delivering these services within the organization's budget. The Manager will be responsible for all technologies used by the Data Analytics and Integration team as well as all related file handling/management tools which directly support the business user community. The Data solutions will cross all lines of business and the manager is expected to service all CSO lines of business including support departments such as Finance and Accounting. The Manager role will create, enhance and enforce standardization and process improvement across the data integration team.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborates with clients, vendors, Parallon managers and business representatives and
  • Parallon technical leads to analyze, define, and document functional and non-functional business requirements utilizing standard business analyst tool sets which include use cases, prototypes, data dictionaries, entity relationship diagrams, and business cases.
  • Work with Executives and Directors to understand analytical data needs and help guide them on
  • what existing reporting solutions they should be using or guide them in the types of new reporting solutions, they should be requesting.
  • Leads discovery sessions which use a variety of requirements gathering methods such as interviews, documentation analysis, surveys, site visits, and business models with executives, managers, developers and subject matter experts. Delivers formal presentations to executive and senior management.
  • Ensures adherence to project management methodology (SDLC) and communication of regular project status. Tracks project progress, identifies and communicates risks, updates status, and assesses potential impact to the business. Maintains technical documentation and system knowledge base.
  • Develops plans for professional growth for team members. Solicit feedback from team members on desires with career path and technical training. Ensures completion of required
  • Parallon training and refresher courses.
  • Addresses HR needs of direct reports. Supports adjustment to compensation through regular reviews of performance and merit. Produces and delivers annual performance reviews to team members. Helps team create individual performance plans and makes sure there is succession plans and cross-training within the team.
  • Work with HR and recruiters to build a Data Analytics and Integration team that is poised for long-term growth and sustainability
  • Help with overall Data Roadmap and have eye to short-term as well as long-term goals.
  • Roadmap has both inputs from business on what they need as well as inputs from technical leads as far as software and hardware releases or upgrades. End-state goal is Enterprise data that can be used across various solutions.
  • Leverage the technical abilities of both their team and other IT teams as needed to produce reporting solution designs that are optimized for cost and long-term supportability.
  • Ensures data security and integrity and system reliability.
  • Sphere of influence - Middle to executive management across multiple Service Line

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required.
  • Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements.
  • 5+ years' experience in related area with two of these years being healthcare management experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of writing/troubleshooting/optimizing SQL for very large data sets
  • Experience working with data visualization tools (such as Tableau, PowerBI, SSRS)
  • Experience working with data warehouse and building BI and ETL dashboards (ie Visual Studio,
  • SSIS, SQL, etc)
  • Knowledge of data architecture, data engineering, and multidimensional modeling.
  • PMP or Lean Six Sigma preferred
  • Must have the ability to acquire and maintain wired, (no Wifi), high speed internet with 25 MBS downloads and 15 MBS upload speeds
