Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Commercial/Sales leaders to assess business performance and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Conduct financial analysis on commercial initiatives, focusing on pricing, contract economics, and profitability.
  • Create and review forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.
  • Track and analyze customer and commercial performance to identify trends and risks.
  • Develop financial models and business cases to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Finance on commercial projects.
  • Drive ad-hoc analysis to support Commercial Finance objectives.

Full Job Description
The Manager, Commercial Finance will be a key business partner supporting Avis Budget Group's commercial organization. This role will provide financial leadership and analysis across commercial performance, pricing, customer profitability, forecasting, and strategic business opportunities while partnering closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance leadership.

What You'll Do:
  • Partner with Commercial/Sales leadership to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities to drive profitable growth.
  • Lead financial analysis of commercial opportunities, including pricing, contract economics, profitability, and margin impact.
  • Develop and analyze forecasts, budgets, and long-range financial plans.
  • Monitor customer and commercial performance and provide insights into key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build financial models and business cases to support strategic decisions.
  • Develop reporting and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Finance on commercial initiatives.
  • Lead ad-hoc analysis and projects supporting Commercial Finance priorities.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $100,000 - $120,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
