Position SummaryThis position is responsible for the coordination and implementation of all system entities' financial analysis. This includes Medicare reimbursement issues, analysis of third party payors, analysis of actual and budget revenues and expenses, and productivity. In addition to oversight of decision support including Strata.Primary Position Responsibilities- Completion of the Medicare cost report and analysis of Medicare reimbursement for Hunterdon Healthcare System.
- Responsible for oversight of the Contract Management system.
- Responsible for the development of the annual operating and capital budgets for Hunterdon Healthcare System.
- Responsible for the maintenance and ongoing analysis of the Strata modules.
- Responsible for the modeling and data analysis for Hunterdon Healthcare programs.
QualificationsMinimum Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting Preferred: Master's Degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: 5 years of hospital reimbursement experience, financial leadership and supervisory experience. Preferred: 7 years of hospital reimbursement experience, financial leadership and supervisory experience. License, Registry or Certification: Required: None Preferred: HFMA Certification Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Strata, Medicare Reimbursement methodologies, Microsoft Office, Google Suite Preferred: Managed care and Insurance contracting Leadership Skills: Authentic: Is a leader who is visible and genuine; interacts and builds strong relationships at all levels of the organization.Decisive: Makes timely decisions based on values, goals, facts, and good judgment; uses decision tools effectively and at appropriate times; shows a good sense of timing related to decision making.
