Full Job Description
The Manager, B2B Digital Commerce is the business owner for SureWerx's digital commerce experience and one of the company's fastest-growing order channels. This role is responsible for driving customer adoption, engagement, and commercial growth by delivering exceptional digital experiences that make it easier for customers to discover products, place orders, and do business with SureWerx through a digital, self-service channel.

Working across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, and IT, this individual will translate customer insights, business priorities, and performance data into a digital roadmap that continuously improves the customer experience while supporting company growth objectives. Execution of these goals could take many forms - the development of new programs, ensuring digital execution of offline processes and optimizing marketing & merchandising to achieve business goals.

Success in this role will be measured not only by website performance, but by customer adoption, engagement, online revenue growth, and the ability to deliver digital experiences that customers prefer over traditional ordering methods. The scope includes Customer B2B Portals in the US & Canada.

This leader serves as the voice of the customer, ensuring digital investments solve real customer problems while aligning with broader commercial strategy. An essential component of this role is communicating the company's brands and value proposition in a positive, authentic way what will attract today's interconnected buyers and ensure the website features exceed today's dynamic buyer.

The ideal candidate can be located close to any of our offices (Elgin, Illinois; Grand Forks, North Dakota; Coquitlam, BC; Mississauga, Ontario, or Wisconsin).

The position can be hybrid or work from their home-based office 100% of the time; however, must be able to commute to the office for meetings, training sessions etc.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for B2B Commerce portals and overall website KPIs (Adoption, revenue, traffic, conversation rate optimization)
• Owns strategic direction for customer engagement including acquisition and conversion driving activities onsite
• Participates in annual business planning and associated technical website roadmap development in partnership with IT, Finance, Digital Commerce and Marketing
• Leads and develops strategy for increasing customer awareness, web traffic, conversion rate optimization, customer retention, and revenue; utilizing AI where necessary
• Studies industry trends, competitors, and advances the organization to remain competitive via the website(s) and other digital initiatives
• Leads existing customer acquisition programs, building out new programs as appropriate
• Partner with Marketing and Sales on the development of promotions & programs, using on-site engagement as needed to drive visits and sales
• Ensure report-out on new product launches are delivered consistently
• Guides and educates IT partners on business needs; being able to converse in a more technical way when needed
• Partners with counterparts to ensure best practices are shared and that there is a comprehensive understanding of strategy and priorities; being proactive in all cases
• Builds strong relationships with other stakeholders, ensuring current/forward-looking strategies/roadmaps and associated results are shared along the way

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in related discipline (IT, Digital, marketing, communications, etc.)
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressing experience with Digital Commerce, preferably B2B but open to transferrable B2C experience.
• Possess knowledge and experience in traditional & digital marketing concepts
• Understanding of B2B features and functionality - Search, Order methods, check-out, carts, punchout etc.
• Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
• Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
• Possesses the ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
• Proficiency in software applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Willingness to travel occasionally in North America
