Rush University Medical Center is seeking a
Manager, AI Training and Adoption to lead enterprise-wide efforts that empower employees to confidently and responsibly use AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and other emerging AI tools. In this highly visible role, you will partner with clinical, operational, IT, and business leaders to develop training programs, drive organizational change, and accelerate AI adoption across the organization.
You will play a key role in translating innovative AI capabilities into practical, real-world solutions that improve productivity, enhance quality, and create measurable business value. From designing scalable learning experiences and adoption strategies to building stakeholder engagement and change management plans, you'll help shape the future of AI-enabled work at one of the nation's leading academic health systems.

Responsibilities:AI Training & Adoption Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive AI training and adoption strategy aligned with organizational priorities
- Design scalable learning programs (live, virtual, and self-paced) to support workforce AI enablement
- Identify high-value AI use cases and translate them into actionable training and adoption pathways
- Promote a culture of AI literacy and continuous learning across the enterprise
Change Management & Enablement
- Lead organizational change management efforts to support AI adoption
- Develop communication strategies that move stakeholders from awareness to sustained usage
- Create structured adoption frameworks, playbooks, and user journeys
- Address cultural and behavioral barriers to AI adoption
Training Program Development
- Build and deliver role-based AI training curricula tailored to different user groups
- Establish training metrics to measure engagement, adoption, and impact
- Continuously refine training programs based on feedback and performance data
- Leverage modern tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Copilot) to enhance training delivery
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Partner with executive leadership, IT, clinical, and operational teams to align AI initiatives
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and adoption campaigns
- Serve as a trusted advisor on AI adoption and workforce readiness
- Build communities of practice to sustain engagement and knowledge sharing
Measurement & Impact
- Define KPIs to track AI adoption, training effectiveness, and business outcomes
- Demonstrate measurable impact (time savings, efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership
- Continuously optimize programs based on data-driven insights
Required Job Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in information management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years experience in training, change management, or technology adoption
- Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide initiatives and influence stakeholders
- Strong communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills
- Experience designing and delivering training programs at scale
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, M365 ecosystem)
Preferred Job Qualifications:- Background in change management frameworks (Prosci, ADKAR, etc.)
- Experience in healthcare, enterprise IT, or regulated environments
- Certification in training, coaching, or program management
- Microsoft Certified Trainer
