Your MissionAs a Manager, Accounting Operations, you will play a critical role in the Activision Blizzard controllership as well as the worldwide Finance Team.
You will oversee timely and accurate accounting close processes and provide governance and subject matter expertise through our business process outsourcing model, ensuring alignment with internal policies and performance standards. You will support the successful execution of accounting and financial reporting processes and partner with stakeholders across ABK. The ideal candidate brings curiosity, innovative thinking, and a strong background in accounting close, business partnering, process management, and collaboration.
Overall, this role is responsible for governance, issue resolution, financial reporting, and process improvement within assigned areas of responsibility, while ensuring compliance with US GAAP, global accounting policies, and internal controls.

- Serve as a subject matter expert and reviewer supporting outsourced vendor teams responsible for accounting activities. Responsibilities include reviewing financial close journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, analytical reviews, and other reporting deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with ABK accounting policies and guidelines. Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Perform in-depth P&L and BS analysis and respond to inquiries regarding financial results and accounting transactions.
- Work closely with business, finance and operational teams to understand business activities and ensure accurate accounting treatment and reporting.
- Investigate and resolve accounting issues, reconciliation differences, system-related inquiries, and data anomalies within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Support internal and external audit requests and help ensure controls are executed with established procedures.
- Participate in process improvement, standardization, automation and system enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across accounting operations.
- Support testing activities, system changes, and ongoing administration for assigned accounting systems and processes.
Minimum RequirementsExperience- Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting /Finance, or related field
- 8+ years accounting or finance experience
- Experience supporting accounting close and financial reporting.
- Experience reviewing and approving accounting work and deliverables.
- Experience with accounting process improvements and system changes.
- CPA preferred but not required

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $89,280.00 - $165,168.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location.
