The
Management Analyst plays a vital role in supporting Diagnostic Imaging leadership through advanced data mining, business intelligence, and operational analysis. The Management Analyst develops actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, while the Management Analyst collaborates with stakeholders to improve performance, reporting, and resource utilization across the department.
ResponsibilitiesTechnical Skills & Data Mining• Design, develop, and maintain user-facing dashboards for Diagnostic Imaging leadership using Power BI
• Support data-driven decision-making through analytics and reporting solutions
• Develop, modify, and maintain reports under the guidance of the Director of Business Operations
• Execute routine and ad hoc reporting requests using institutional and departmental data sources
• Perform complex data mining across divisional and institutional systems
Business Knowledge• Develop an understanding of diagnostic imaging modalities and their operational impacts
• Analyze the effects of imaging services on space planning, financial performance, operational efficiency, and service delivery
• Apply business knowledge to support departmental and institutional initiatives
Operational Analysis• Review and analyze diagnostic imaging operational, business, and quality data
• Monitor imaging volumes, modality utilization, and throughput across imaging services
• Support analysis of key performance indicators, trends, and benchmarks
• Identify patterns in demand and capacity constraints
• Provide analytical support for staffing and scheduling decisions
• Evaluate operational performance to identify improvement opportunities
Recommendations & Project Reporting
• Analyze Diagnostic Imaging operations data to identify issues and opportunities
• Develop insights and recommendations to improve operational performance
• Track departmental and institutional projects using data-driven methodologies
• Design reports and dashboards to communicate project status and outcomes
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
Training, Stakeholder Support & Service Orientation• Create training materials, task descriptions, and competency criteria for departmental data analyst roles
• Update and maintain training content, refreshers, and skills verification processes
• Provide service to patients, caregivers, colleagues, and stakeholders in a safe, accountable, efficient, and innovative manner
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure quality and accurate reporting
• Advocate for proposals and ideas that support institutional goals
• Listen to feedback, consider differing perspectives, and promote collaborative problem-solving
• Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION- Required: Bachelor's Degree Business, healthcare discipline or related field.
- Preferred: Master's Degree Business Administration or related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE- Required: 5 years In Consulting, data analysis, business analytics, business management or project management experience.
- Preferred: 7 years Related experience to include two years in a consulting role.
