Maintenance Supervisor - JLL,
What this job involves: The Maintenance Supervisor provides hands-on leadership for maintenance operations within assigned facility areas. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day troubleshooting, coordinating work permits, developing work plans, managing LOTO documentation, and assessing technician skill levels. The position supports safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance operations across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, facilities, and BAS systems while partnering closely with Operations leadership to achieve operational and client objectives.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Manage day-to-day troubleshooting and resolution of maintenance issues within assigned facility areas.
- Coordinate work permits and develop detailed maintenance work plans.
- Ensure proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are implemented and documented for all maintenance activities.
- Supervise technicians responding to electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, facilities, and BAS system issues.
- Conduct technician skills assessments and support employee training and development initiatives.
- Assign work schedules and priorities based on operational needs, technician skillsets, and workload demands.
- Perform inspections and field oversight to verify quality, safety compliance, and completion of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with planners, schedulers, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure maintenance work is completed safely and on schedule.
- Support Operations Supervisors and Senior Managers with maintenance planning, special projects, and operational initiatives.
- Develop labor and material estimates for corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and facility projects.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- Minimum experience supervising maintenance operations within commercial, healthcare, industrial, or critical facility environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and building automation systems.
- Experience coordinating work permits, maintenance planning, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Working knowledge of CMMS platforms and maintenance workflow management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing technicians and maintenance personnel.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance compliance standards.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or advanced technical certification in facilities maintenance, engineering technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in healthcare or critical environment facilities.
- Familiarity with preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience supporting onboarding, technical training, and employee development initiatives.
- Ability to develop labor and material cost estimates for maintenance and project work.
- Experience coordinating contractors and third-party service providers.
- Knowledge of KPI tracking, maintenance reporting, and operational performance metrics.

Monday-Friday, 1st shift Morning shift, 8-hour schedule with potential overtime

Expected compensation for this position:85,000.00 - 97,000.00 USD per year
Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
