• Shape the terminal’s transition from reactive maintenance towards a proactive, disciplined maintenance organisation.
• Work across maintenance, operations, inventory, procurement, finance, reliability and regional asset management teams.
• Develop planners and technicians through clear expectations, coaching, mentoring and delegated ownership.
• Use asset data, planning systems and performance analytics to improve reliability, cost control and operational continuity.

• Own the terminal maintenance plan, ensuring its accuracy, planning horizon, quality and schedule adherence across rolling, annual and multi-year cycles.
• Forecast workload and resource requirements, including labour, materials, contractors, tooling and specialist support, and translate asset strategies into executable local work packages.
• Plan preventive and predictive maintenance, refurbishments, overhauls and major interventions, ensuring each activity is technically scoped, resource-loaded and ready for safe execution.
• Govern work order planning, scheduling and allocation across maintenance teams and contractors, with complete documentation covering labour, materials, standard time, permits, safety controls, tooling and instructions.
• Prioritise and manage the maintenance backlog using asset criticality, operational risk, service levels, availability, cost and local operational constraints.
• Build maintenance OPEX budgets and rolling forecasts from maintenance plans, historical performance, consumption patterns and expected workload, while supporting right-part, right-time availability.
• Use CMMS or ERP systems and analytics to monitor work control, plan adherence, scheduling performance and reporting, while partnering with terminal and regional stakeholders to improve processes and performance.

• Bring hands-on maintenance planning and scheduling experience gained in a heavy-asset environment such as ports, terminals, utilities, heavy industry or a comparable setting.
• Demonstrate supervisory experience leading maintenance technicians and/or planners, with the ability to coordinate effectively across operations, inventory, procurement and contractors.
• Apply strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, civil and/or hydraulic disciplines, together with expertise in lifecycle planning, work scoping, demand planning, forecasting and risk-based prioritisation.
• Use CMMS or EAM platforms such as SAP, IFS, Maximo, Infor EAM or equivalent to govern work, plans, schedules and reporting, supported by confident numerical and analytical reasoning.
• Communicate fluently in Spanish and operate effectively in English, the corporate language, while influencing stakeholders through clear analysis, collaboration and attention to detail.
