Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience as a Maintenance/Assistant General Manager in fixed-cost transit operations with alternative fuel fleet.
• Experience managing a team of 10+ employees, including technicians and service workers.
• Worked with a fleet of 50+ buses within the past year.
• Preferred experience in passenger transportation or similar environment.
• Skilled in managing relationships with clients and vendors.
• Ability to control parts inventory and prioritize work schedules.
• Competence in managing financial aspects of fleet maintenance.
• Effective communication skills in both written and oral formats.
• Familiarity with computer applications including spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook.
• Technical expertise in vehicle repair and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance operations for a fixed route bus service.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual maintenance requirements.
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
• Manage and oversee the budget for the maintenance program.
• Supervise and direct a team of fleet technicians and service workers.
• Coordinate with clients and maintain effective working relationships.
• Track and control parts inventories and manage vendor relations.
