What you will be doing: - Support the Maintenance Management Team in the coordination and administration of maintenance department activities and strategic initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and periodically review Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of equipment Asset Care Plans, maintenance standards, and supporting technical documentation.
- Maintain equipment records, asset registers, technical files, machine documentation, and maintenance compliance records.
- Support maintenance compliance programs including statutory inspections, engineering inspections, pressure systems, lifting equipment, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate maintenance-related Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives and support implementation of company safety standards.
- Assist in fulfilling Responsible Person (RP) or Assistant Responsible Person responsibilities for designated compliance activities, where assigned.
- Support the Planner/Scheduler in maintaining maintenance system data integrity, including asset structures, equipment records, preventive maintenance information, and system improvement projects.
- Lead periodic reviews and special projects to improve the quality, accuracy, and effectiveness of maintenance system data and documentation.
- Coordinate calibration program requirements and support monitoring of calibration service providers to ensure compliance and performance expectations are achieved.
- Coordinate external contractors and service providers, ensuring work activities are planned, documented, and completed in accordance with company requirements.
- Support contractor onboarding, documentation reviews, permits, compliance verification, and contractor performance monitoring.
- Coordinate small maintenance and facilities improvement projects, including planning activities, contractor coordination, documentation, and progress tracking.
- Assist Maintenance and Engineering personnel with project execution, equipment installations, facility modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support development and administration of service agreements, maintenance contracts, and contractor performance metrics.
- Generate maintenance compliance reports, asset management reports, audit documentation, and performance metrics for management review.
- Support property risk reduction initiatives and corrective action tracking in collaboration with site leadership and safety personnel.
- Assist with maintenance purchasing activities, contractor service requests, and procurement coordination as required.
- Support the Spare Parts Coordinator with inventory improvement initiatives, spare parts data management, stock optimization projects, and equipment bill-of-material reviews.
- Coordinate maintenance audits, compliance reviews, and documentation assessments to ensure readiness for internal and external inspections.
- Liaise with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Health & Safety, and external stakeholders to ensure maintenance objectives and compliance requirements are effectively supported.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance compliance, asset management processes, documentation systems, contractor performance, and operational effectiveness.

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree, and 2 years of experience in Maintenance engineering; or 4 years’ experience in Maintenance Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- This position has a traditional work schedule that requires five (5) eight (8) hours during a Monday through Friday work schedule, with the eligibility of overtime as business requires.

Preferred Requirements:
- Proficiency with SAP required.
- Strong knowledge of Lockout/Tagout programs, maintenance compliance requirements, and asset management principles.
- Knowledge of CMMS or EAM systems and maintenance documentation processes.
- Strong analytical ability where problems are complex.
- Strong organizational planning and follow-up skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Good oral, written and presentation communication skills.
- Good ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
- Professional certification in maintenance, reliability, safety, or facilities management.
- Knowledge of RCM, preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices.
- Experience supporting audits, inspections, ISO standards, and compliance activities.
Work Conditions:
While performing duties of this position, employees are frequently requested to work inside and occasionally required to work outside of the facility. While working outside, employees will occasionally endure hot, cold, and humid temperature conditions. The employees will frequently hear noise. Also, employees will occasionally work with hazardous material within the manufacturing work environment.
While performing physical demands of the work environments, employees will occasionally be requested to sit, climb, and maintain balance, crouch and squat. Next, employees will frequently be requested to stop or kneel. Finally, employees will regularly be requested to sit and walk within the work environment.
Employees will be occasionally requested to push, pull, carry, lift and or move materials within the work environment. The materials will weigh between 10-25 pounds, and the employee will be occasionally requested to move materials once per week.
Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the employee must have the ability to adjust focus.
