What role you will play on our teamThe Trainer/Verifier is responsible for delivering field-based and classroom training, assessing employee competency, and verifying workforce readiness to ensure safe, compliant, and effective job performance. This role supports the Facility Specific Training (FST) program through training delivery, competency verification, coaching, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will doTraining Delivery- Implement field training delivery plans aligned with OIMS System 5-1 and Training and Competency Upstream Best Practice.
- Deliver classroom and field-based training using the Facility Specific Training (FST) curriculum and approved equivalents.
- Facilitate Production Unit Overview, System Equipment & Process Knowledge, and other required competency-based learning programs.
- Train employees on field walkthroughs, rounds and routine tasks, reverification tasks, and scheduled high-risk tasks as outlined in applicable UPBs.
- Ensure training materials, resources, and learning aids are current, accurate, and available for delivery.
- Promote learner engagement, participation, and understanding throughout training activities.
Competency Verification & Assessment- Conduct on-site verification of field personnel, including O&M disciplines.
- Evaluate employee competency through guided questioning, performance observations, and practical demonstrations.
- Ensure self-assessments are prepared and available for assignment.
- Maintain consistency, fairness, and integrity across all verification activities and assessment processes, based on the Training and Competency Upstream Best Practice.
- Adhere to the systems-based Facility Specific Training (FST) program and competency assurance requirements.
About youSkills and Qualifications- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Craft, Operations, Safety, Health and Enviromental (SHE) or Training Facilitator role or equivalent combination of technical and workforce development experience

We offer you: - The expected annual salary range for this position is $143,000 - $165,000. Individual pay will be determined based on various factors, which may include skills, abilities, qualifications, work experience, and education.
