  • Integrate new maintenance equipment, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.
  • Keep maintenance documentation current and accessible; ensure PMI compliance.
  • Monitor and update maintenance equipment standardization plans and adhere to Change Management processes.
  • Facilitate payment processing for repairs and schedule upgrades or replacements.
  • Develop proactive, cost-effective maintenance strategies based on best practices.

Maintenance Asset Manager - Owensboro KY

This position sits with our Swedish Match affiliate.

The Maintenance Asset Manager is responsible for planning and managing assets-including storeroom inventory and personnel-to ensure optimal equipment availability and reliability. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and routines to support cost-efficient, high-quality maintenance and improvements while ensuring compliance with PMI standards.

Your 'day to day'

    • Maintain and update the asset register for manufacturing equipment and storeroom inventory.
    • Manage storeroom attendants across all shifts and oversee ordering of assets and non-critical items.
    • Perform asset and equipment inventory; monitor deliveries and communicate issues to management.
    • Integrate new maintenance equipment, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.
    • Keep maintenance documentation current and accessible; ensure PMI compliance.
    • Monitor and update maintenance equipment standardization plans and adhere to Change Management processes.

    • Accurately record maintenance processes and data in CMMS (Maximo) or logbooks.
