Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications and systems
- Write and optimize COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe-based code
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging of mainframe environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technical requirements
- Monitor mainframe performance and implement tuning improvements
- Participate in system migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives
- Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures
Requirements:- Proven experience in mainframe development or administration (IBM z/OS preferred)
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, or related mainframe technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex system environments
- Experience with mainframe performance monitoring and tuning tools
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and Agile development practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
