Job DescriptionMachine Shop Manager/Site LeaderPosition SummaryThis role is responsible for the overall leadership, operation, and performance of our Madison, NH machine shop. The Machine Shop Manager provides hands-on leadership for shop floor operations, workforce development, safety, quality, and customer delivery while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork. The ideal candidate combines strong machining expertise with proven people leadership skills and the ability to drive operational excellence.
This position has full responsibility for site operations and personnel management but does not have direct Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility.

What You'll Do- Oversee Operations: Lead daily machine shop operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals while promoting operational excellence and collaboration.
- Develop People: Lead, coach, and support team members to help them grow their skills and prepare the next generation of talent.
- Drive Lean Transformation: Champion Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and process optimization.
- Measure What Matters: Own KPIs for productivity, quality, and safety, and drive accountability through action and results.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with engineering, supply chain, and quality to deliver seamless execution of production goals.
- Innovate for the Future: Drive adoption of new technologies, automation, and best practices to position our operations as an industry leader.
- Lead Change: Work closely with the team to build a culture of continuous improvement, empowerment, and engagement.
QualificationsWhat You Bring- Minimum of 8 years of progressive manufacturing leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred - equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Proven success implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or CI methodologies with measurable impact.
- Strong history of building cohesive teams and developing leaders.
- Experience in machine shop operations (CNC machining, tooling, or precision manufacturing).
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and change management skills.
