Full Job Description
This is a US-based remote role. You will be required to interview in person.

About the Role

Imagine starting your day syncing with cross-functional leaders across Product, Engineering, IT, HR, and GTM to ensure the integration of a newly acquired company is running smoothly. As an M&A Integration Manager, you will be the day-to-day heartbeat of our Integration Management Office (IMO). You will translate high-level strategic deal theses into execution-ready integration plans, proactively mapping out dependencies, updating milestone trackers, and managing RAID logs. On any given day, you might facilitate a workshop to streamline product integration, dive into due diligence materials to identify transition service requirements, or synthesize complex operational progress into crisp updates for executive leadership. While this is an individual contributor role, you will be a critical orchestrator across SailPoint, using tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, and Slack to keep all stakeholders aligned and moving forward in a fast-paced environment.

About the Team

You will join SailPoint's Corporate Development team, working directly within our Integration Management Office (IMO) and reporting to the Corporate Development Director. We are a high-visibility, collaborative, and dynamic team responsible for driving SailPoint's strategic growth initiatives. The IMO is the operational backbone of our M&A process, ensuring that acquired businesses, products, and cultures are integrated smoothly to drive long-term value creation. Our team thrives on structured problem-solving, collaboration across every department in the company, and navigating complex challenges with speed and agility.

Roadmap for Success

Within 30 days:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of SailPoint's current M&A integration playbook, templates, and active integration activities.
  • Establish relationships and set up recurring syncs with key cross-functional leads across Product Management, Engineering, GTM, Finance, IT, HR, Legal, and Cyber.
  • Familiarize yourself with the corporate development reporting rhythms, corporate tools, and active integration project RAID logs.

Within 60 days:
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day program management of an active post-acquisition integration or a specific integration workstream.
  • Update and maintain integration project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and RAID logs, ensuring 100% alignment across workstream leads.
  • Support the Corporate Development Director in compiling weekly and monthly executive integration status reports.

Within 6 months:
  • Support or co-lead the integration planning phase for a new acquisition, coordinating cross-functional workshops to define Day 1 readiness plans and synergy capture targets.
  • Assist in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions by managing diligence requests, coordinating with targets, and consolidating findings into crisp, executive-ready diligence summaries.
  • Document lessons learned from completed integrations, and implement at least two updates to the M&A integration playbook to improve process scalability.

Within 1 year:
  • Lead the end-to-end integration execution of an acquired entity or a major, complex cross-functional workstream, achieving all Day 1 milestones on schedule and within budget.
  • Formulate and execute a Transition Services Agreement (TSA) monitoring process, including tracking deliverables, roll-off dates, and billing support.
  • Drive corporate development support initiatives, such as market mapping and product strategy reviews, to identify potential targets and enhance SailPoint's strategic growth pipeline.

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 4+ years of professional experience in management consulting, transaction advisory, corporate development, business operations, sales operations, or technical program management.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting M&A transaction due diligence or acquisition integration or separation planning and execution.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and influence diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment with a high capacity to manage constant changes of direction, priorities, and ambiguity.
  • Strong structured problem-solving skills on abstract, complex, and ambiguous business problems.
  • Willingness and comfort to take clear ownership and accountability for integration workstreams.
  • Technical acumen and the ability to converse effectively on technical integration topics.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the cybersecurity or enterprise software industry.
  • Understanding of business and operating models in the software industry.
  • Experience from a Big 4 or top-tier M&A / deal advisory practice.
  • Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
