Project Overview:

The project is a 1.3 GW simple-cycle power generation facility located in Millersport, Ohio, being constructed adjacent to a hyperscale data center campus. The facility includes multiple power generation technologies consisting of Solar Titan 130 gas turbines, Siemens SGT800 gas turbines, reciprocating engines, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, and associated balance of plant infrastructure.

The scope includes major civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, underground utility, control systems, and commissioning works required to support phased energization and turnover of the facility. Construction will be executed through a combination of direct hire and subcontracted labor supported by modularization, pre-assembly, offsite warehousing, and advanced work packaging methodologies.

Job Summary:

Leads project logistics operations supporting construction execution. Responsible for transportation planning, heavy haul coordination, traffic management, laydown operations, material movement, warehouse interfaces, delivery coordination, and logistics strategy. Ensures personnel, materials, equipment, and project resources are transported and positioned efficiently to support project objectives while maintaining safety, schedule, and cost performance.#LI-SP1

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead all site logistics operations and logistics personnel.
  • Develop and implement project logistics plans and procedures.
  • Coordinate transportation, heavy haul, oversized loads, and delivery scheduling activities.
  • Manage site access, traffic flow, delivery routing, and staging operations.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Materials Management, Warehousing, Construction, and subcontractors.
  • Support development and utilization of laydown yards, warehouses, and storage facilities.
  • Monitor material flow from receipt through installation locations.
  • Coordinate lifting, rigging, transportation, and equipment movement activities.
  • Identify logistics constraints and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage logistics contractors, transportation providers, and service vendors.
  • Support construction readiness and workface planning requirements.
  • Monitor logistics performance metrics and prepare management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, permitting, transportation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support emergency response and contingency planning related to logistics activities.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 12+ years of logistics, transportation, materials management, construction operations, or supply chain experience.


Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience supporting large EPC, industrial, power generation, infrastructure, or manufacturing projects.
  • Experience leading logistics teams and contractor organizations.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction logistics and material movement operations.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, heavy haul operations, and site logistics planning.
  • Understanding of warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
