Job Description
We are seeking a
Logistician IV.
Located on-site in
Chesapeake, VA.
ESN is seeking a Logistician IV to support a contract with Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic, in Norfolk, VA. The contract to support NIWC LANT consists of Independent Validation & Verification, Operations, Sustainment, and Installation support. The Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) systems provides near real-time material-based readiness reporting to the Defense Readiness Reporting System-Navy (DRRS-N) and provides three additional primary capabilities to the Fleet including Ashore and Afloat systems. This support includes manual and automation of software testing, Scrum Master, operating in the AWS Cloud, management of JIRA/JAMA/Confluence, and project support.
Experience Requirement:- Ten (10) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support (or 13 years if not DAWIA Level 2 certified) of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes. Six (6) years of experience in support of C4ISR systems.
- Demonstrated management skills, to include: Analyzing Contracts, Analyzing System Design Specifications, Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines.
- Experience supervising Logistics Specialists.
- Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
Education & Certification Requirements:- BS degree in a relevant discipline.
- Current Professional Logistics Certification - i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 2 or have equivalent logistics training (resume to specify all equivalent training), or possess an additional three (3) years working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.
Security Clearance:- Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance.
