Overview

Responsibilities

  • Maintain DoD STIG Compliant images
  • Provide Tier II engineering, development, testing, and production environment support
  • Responsible for full Life Cycle support of AWS GovCloud and On-Premised hosted Systems/Applications.
  • Review, evaluate, and fine-tunes system performance for Mission Systems/Applications.
  • Monitor the environment to ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Coordinate problem resolution with customers, teammates, and vendors.
  • Evaluate new and existing system software/hardware and recommends changes.
  • Provide management with status of project.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain Cybersecurity compliance vulnerability mitigations.
  • Perform interface Administration, including sFTP, SFG, shell scripting, etc.
  • Support maintenance and administrative scripting (Shell, Perl, etc.)
Qualifications
    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
    • 3+ years experience as a Linux/UNIX (RHEL, Solaris) Systems Administrator
    • DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
    • CompTIA Security + certification
Pay Transparency StatementAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $82,000.00/Yr. - USD $130,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
