As a Line Producer in EA SPORTS FC, you will direct and lead a team responsible for delivering a pillar within the FC product. You will be responsible for constructing mode-level and ecosystem product strategy to achieve business goals in partnership with the Game Design Director. You will be responsible for directing execution of the strategy in partnership with the Lead Development Director and Technical Director. You will report directly to a Production Director.

The sports genre continues to evolve with inspiration and influence from a range of other genres including large online multiplayer shooters, rpg games, open world games, co-op PvE games, user-generated gaming platforms, and narrative games. We invite you to join us if you have extensive experience in one or more of the above spaces and believe you can drive innovation in sports through cross-pollination of ideas.

This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.

Responsibilities:

  • You will construct the vision and drive roadmaps for a game mode fantasy in alignment with the broader goals of EA SPORTS FC and EA.
  • You will use insights from various sources to establish opportunities and goals, focusing ideation and spurring creativity across the game mode.
  • You will partner with licensing, brand, legal, and other central teams to determine goals and end to end requirements that are critical to the execution success.
  • You will partner with product management, art, design, and engineering leads to deliver on expectations.
  • You will partner with the development directors to establish new and/or improve existing processes, enable the program schedule and milestones deliverables.
  • You will establish the OKRs for your team that align with the organizational and franchise KRs.


Qualifications:

  • You are an experienced Producer or Product Manager with 10+ years of experience in game production roles, tenured with building products from creation to live services.
  • You have a track record leading 30+ people teams.
  • You have passion for pioneering, and encouraging others to consider different perspectives.
  • You use data and insights to inform decision-making, planning and road mapping.
  • You are a master of influence and an accomplished mediator and resolver of conflicts.
  • You are able to navigate ambiguity and proactively transform unknowns into actionable solutions.
  • You have AAA development experience in one or more of the following genres: large online multiplayer shooters, rpg games, open world games, co-op PvE games, user-generated gaming platforms, and narrative games.
  • Bonus: you are a football (soccer) fan, or a sports fan in general.


Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$160,700 - $224,700 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
