Overview

Provides commercial and Department of War (DoW) acquisition lifecycle supply chain
and supply chain risk management (SCRM) subject matter expertise addressing
regulatory/compliance, manufacturing/supply, political, financial, FOCI, technology/cybersecurity,
product quality/design, and transportation/distribution supplier risk areas.

Responsibilities
• Developing a robust SCRM program in accordance with DoW and IC policies, ensuring
SCRM considerations are embedded in procurement and contracting actions. Support
technology updates and modernization, verifying that new hardware and software components
are sourced from trusted suppliers.
• Engaging with industry and leveraging industry best practices on developing process
improvement solutions and assisting the organization in collecting and disseminating SCRM
best practices and lessons learned with the goal of encouraging project replication,
collaboration and establishing the supply chain risk management program processes.
• Comparing NGA SCRM benchmarks with other organizations, both government and industry,
that are similar in scope to understand business process best practices that can be applied and
deliver reports providing lessons learned, best practices and applicability.
• Developing and implementing strategic performance measures, metrics, data collection
methodologies, and data validation/analysis methodologies.
• Developing SCRM strategies, tactics, and communication methods and processes to
effectively inform key audiences about changes, create buy-in, gain understanding, and
transition the organization, with the goal of steadily increasing stakeholder engagement.
• Reviewing and assessing current supply chain risk management governance processes and
automating processes where appropriate; routinely making suggestions for innovative and
more efficient methods to improve NGA's acquisition processes.

Required Qualifications
• At least 10 years of relevant experience with a Master's, compliant with GSA standards.
• Demonstrated experience in Supply Chain Risk Management, Supply Chain Management, or
logistics.
• Advanced ability to create, implement, and analyze key SCRM metrics, data collection
methodologies, and data validation methodologies.
• Advanced ability to apply DoW and IC guidance and commercial best practices to identify,
assess, and mitigate complex supply chain risks throughout the acquisition lifecycle
identifying, assessing, and mitigating supply chain risks
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing online training, training plans and
communications strategies.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's or above in Supply Chain Risk Management, or equivalent directly relatable
    education and work experience.

  • Demonstrated experience executing governance and oversight support for senior management
    including planning and execution.
