Full Job Description
Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center, a 171-bed skilled nursing facility in North Easton, is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead operations!

Salaried role up to $175,000 with weekly pay. The administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility while ensuring that residents receive the highest-quality care and that staff are pleased with their work environment. Non-union facility.

Education:
  • Must possess an active and unencumbered Administrator license in Massachusetts,
  • At least two (2) years of experience as a skilled nursing administrator required.
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to long-term care operations.

Duties:
  • Oversee, direct, and enforce the regulatory compliance of applicable local, state federal and town regulations to meet and/or exceed quality of care and services.
  • Enforce quality of care, quality of life, standards of practice, QI/QM to ensure positive resident outcomes.
  • Conduct rounds throughout the facility.
  • Enforce Privacy Practices to ensure the protection of individuals' health information.
  • Report the needs of the facility to the Governing Body and Director of Operations as appropriate.
  • Oversees all aspects of personnel administration.
  • Ongoing recruitment and retention of qualified personnel.
  • Develop and maintain positive public relations and effective marketing.
  • Assure that the resident's personal and property rights are protected as well as their safety and well-being.
  • Uphold and monitor daily staffing patterns to meet the needs of the residents. Staffing adjustments made as needed.
  • Quality Assurance through regular mandated meetings, audits, rounds reviews, and resident, family & staff interviews.
  • Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions.
  • Contribute to and promote resident and family relations.

Specific Requirements:
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess strong leadership and supervisory skills and independent decision-making skills.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
  • Must possess strong management and financial operations of the facility along with knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care administration.
  • Must develop and maintain positive public relations/marketing plan.
  • Must be on call 24 hours/7 days a week, via cell phone, beeper with emergency response to the facility as needed.
