You will also contribute to the firm's broader approach to responsible AI in litigation by helping evaluation methods, and adoption materials that support defensible use of approved tools across disputes practices.

Litigation Workflow Design & Build
  • Partner with litigation teams to identify, scope, and prioritize high-value workflows across various disputes use cases.
  • Design, prototype, test, and support adoption of AI-enabled litigation workflows using firm-approved tools and platforms.
  • Develop repeatable prompts, templates, checklists, and workflow patterns for litigation use cases such as chronologies, fact development, issue lists, document summaries, deposition preparation, witness preparation, and case strategy support.
  • Work with eDiscovery, practice support, and litigation teams to align legal engineering solutions with document review, analytics, case management, and other matter workflows supporting each phase of the litigation cycle.
  • Develop and maintain evaluation methods to test accuracy, completeness, source grounding, and defensibility of AI-assisted litigation outputs.
  • Experience developing scalable frameworks, playbooks, reusable knowledge assets (including skills), or solution patterns.

Practice Enablement and Adoption
  • Partner with the Innovation team and AI & Innovation Counsel to integrate approved AI and automation tools into existing litigation workstreams while preserving lawyer judgment, supervision, confidentiality, and client requirements.
  • Create reusable adoption materials, matter intake questions, workflow guides, and examples that help litigation teams recognize when and how to use approved tools.
  • Capture lessons learned from pilots and live matters to improve repeatable workflows and contribute to the broader legal engineering roadmap.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work directly with the Head of Legal Engineering, Innovation leadership, litigation partners, associates, paralegals, eDiscovery, Knowledge Management, IT, and Information Security to co-design practical solutions.
  • Partner with the AI Governance & Program Manager and other stakeholders to ensure litigation workflows meet firm standards, client requirements, confidentiality obligations, and responsible AI expectations.
  • Act as a translator between litigation needs, technical capabilities, and risk considerations so matter teams can adopt technology with confidence.

  • Experience with litigation technology, eDiscovery platforms, AI-enabled legal tools, workflow automation, or case management tools; experience with Legora, Harvey, Copilot, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Ability to decompose legal workflows, gather requirements, design practical solutions, and support adoption by busy matter teams.
  • Familiarity with AI quality control concepts, including source grounding, verification, defensibility, privilege/confidentiality concerns, and limitations of AI-generated outputs.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and moving iteratively from user need to prototype to scalable workflow.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate between legal, technical, and risk stakeholders.
