Join our team as a Learning & Quality Assurance Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping our employee experience and fostering a positive work culture. The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for developing and implementing training programs that support JW Marriott brand standards, operational excellence, and exceptional guest and resident experiences. This role oversees associate orientation and onboarding, leads the Griffin Pride certified trainer program, and ensures consistent training aligned with Forbes Travel Guide standards. The position partners with department leaders to identify development needs, strengthen service quality, build leadership capabilities, and promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and personalized service across the hotel and residences.
Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, human resources, education, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• At least three years of progressive experience in hospitality training, learning and development, or hotel operations with significant training responsibilities.
• Luxury hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience with service quality assessments, internal audits, and corrective action follow-up.
• Familiarity with Marriott or JW Marriott brand standards and Forbes Travel Guide standards preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate engaging training for frontline associates and leaders.
• Experience developing departmental trainers, onboarding programs, and practical learning materials.
• Strong coaching, presentation, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and work across departments to achieve measurable improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with learning management systems.
