What is the Opportunity?Reporting to the Learning Manager, the Enterprise Learning Partner serves as AU's senior learning professional responsible for designing, developing, and evolving enterprise-wide learning solutions, role-based programs, and strategic learning initiatives.
This role provides both learning design expertise and business consultation, partnering with operational and HR leaders, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to address enterprise capability needs and develop practical, scalable solutions that support organizational priorities. The Enterprise Learning Partner acts as the primary learning lead for enterprise-wide programs and courses, role-based programs (PMA, Blueprint, Estimator, PC/PE, etc.).
What You'll Do Here:Learning Solution Design & Development- Act as the design lead for enterprise-wide learning initiatives, role-based programs, and capability-building solutions, ensuring they are practical, scalable, learner-centered, and aligned to business priorities.
- Serve as the learning lead for enterprise-wide learning solutions, corporate initiatives, compliance education, onboarding resources, and other learning offerings that support the broader employee population.
- Support the Director in shaping the future direction of enterprise and role-based learning offerings through recommendations, stakeholder input, learner feedback, and business insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain learning pathways, curricula, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, case studies, toolkits, workshops, eLearning modules, videos, communications, and performance support resources.
- Translate complex business, operational, and technical information into engaging and accessible learning experiences for diverse audiences.
- Partner with subject matter experts, operational and HR leaders, and other stakeholders to gather knowledge, define requirements, and develop effective learning solutions.
- Conduct needs analysis, recommend solutions, and actively design, develop, implement and evaluate the resulting learning and performance support solutions
- Facilitate instructor-led and virtual learning sessions, workshops, and working sessions as required.
- Ensure learning content remains current, accurate, and aligned with evolving business priorities, industry practices, and organizational needs.
- Apply established instructional design standards, methodologies, and templates to support consistency across programs and learning offerings.
- Create reusable assets, case studies, tools, frameworks, and performance supports that can be leveraged across multiple programs, business areas, and audiences.
- Leverage emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools to improve learning design efficiency, scalability, learner experience, and content development practices.
Business Consultation & Capability Support- Partner with leaders, HR, and Learning Business Partners to understand learning and capability needs.
- Assess whether learning, performance support, process improvement, communications, or other interventions are most appropriate to address identified business needs.
- Provide recommendations regarding learning approaches, program enhancements, and curriculum design.
Continuous Improvement- Gather feedback from participants, stakeholders, and sponsors to identify improvement opportunities.
- Monitor program effectiveness and recommend enhancements to learning solutions.
- Partner with the Manager, Learning Operations and Enablement, business leaders, and other stakeholders to gather learner feedback, review performance data, and guide program updates and refreshes.
- Stay current on learning practices, technologies, and industry trends to continuously improve AU offerings.
What You Bring to the Team:- 7+ years of progressive experience in instructional design, learning solution development, and the design, development, and continuous improvement of learning programs and curricula (leadership development and role-based program experience considered an asset).
- Demonstrated success partnering with leaders, HR partners, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify capability needs and develop practical learning or performance solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in instructional design methodologies, learning technologies, and content development tools, including eLearning authoring software (Articulate Storyline), learning management systems (SuccessFactors), multimedia development tools, and AI-enabled content creation technologies (Mindsmith or similar)
- Experience developing or managing learning portfolios, enterprise programs, role-based programs, learning pathways, curricula, or performance support resources.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, learning evaluation practices, performance consulting, change management, and organizational development.
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving business requirements.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect learning initiatives to operational performance, organizational outcomes, and workforce capability needs.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, consulting, and influencing skills.
- Experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, industrial, or other operational/project-based environments is considered a strong asset.
This role follows a hybrid work model, combining in-office collaboration and flexibility, with an expectation of three days per week in the office.

The expected salary range for this role is $85,000-$95,000 per year
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may includecertifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
