What you’ll be doing…
As a Learning Experience Management - Sr Mgr, you will serve as the technical authority and enterprise architect driving the long-term vision, strategy, and execution of Verizon’s Learning Agent technology ecosystem and Digital Front Door platform. Functioning as a high-impact individual contributor, you will bridge executive strategy with deep technical execution across AI engineering, design systems, and enterprise knowledge infrastructure. This role demands executive-level technical leadership and autonomy in establishing architectural guardrails, pioneering RAG-optimized vector pipeline strategies, setting standards for automated intake automation, and defining multi-variable AI evaluation frameworks to transform enterprise-wide digital learning experiences.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Architecting and setting enterprise-wide technical benchmarks for multi-agent AI ecosystems (chatbots, adaptive cognitive agents, dynamic interfaces), establishing rigorous Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) safety, accuracy, and performance guardrails.
- Leading the strategic vision for RAG-ready enterprise knowledge bases, vector indexing, and metadata taxonomy standards, ensuring seamless real-time context retrieval for AI models while eliminating latency and knowledge decay.
- Designing enterprise telemetry architectures, observability models, and automated feedback loops to proactively identify and mitigate LLM drift, hallucination patterns, and complex API pipeline degradation across digital ecosystems.
- Spearheading the technological roadmap for the Digital Learning Center platform UX/UI and intake automation, driving advanced prompt engineering patterns, webhook integrations, and scalable microservices architectures.
- Defining high-level analytics frameworks and machine learning metric models (evaluating complex user pathways, skill resolution velocity, ROI, and organizational behavior change) to advise senior leadership on technology investments.
- Providing technical leadership across multi-disciplinary agile squads, partnering with executive sponsors, AI research teams, and product engineering to pioneer next-generation learning technology capabilities.
In this remote role, you'll work from home with occasional in-person trainings and meetings.

- Demonstrated experience establishing enterprise data governance, telemetry modeling, and technical vision for large-scale AI or digital product ecosystems.
- Proven ability to lead technical strategy, influence executive stakeholders, and set architectural standards without direct authority in a matrixed organization.
- Experience authoring technical whitepapers, architectural blueprints, adaptive learning, or real-time data evaluation.
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise system design and continuous deployment for LLM-driven application frameworks.
- Proficiency writing performant JavaScript/Apps Script, specifically utilizing batching practices rather than high-latency individual calls.
- Proficiency writing performant JavaScript/Apps Script, specifically utilizing batching practices (getValues/setValues) rather than high-latency individual calls.
- Experience integrating external REST APIs via UrlFetchApp and managing authentication headers (OAuth2, Bearer tokens).
- Practical understanding of GAS constraints, including execution limits (6-minute runtime cap), quota limits, and trigger handling (onEdit, time-driven triggers).
- Familiarity with local Apps Script deployment using clasp and Git for version control is a plus.
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
