Lead Ultrasound Technologist

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Familiarity with RIS, imaging equipment, and PACS is essential.
• Proven ability to maintain quality standards in medical imaging.
• Experience in leadership roles within a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide performance feedback about technologists to the Imaging Center Manager.
• Coach, train, and support team members to enhance their skills.
• Document and monitor team performance during evaluation periods.
• Delegate work among team members to promote staff flexibility.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and RadNet guidelines.
• Perform technologist duties to address staffing shortages effectively.
• Offer input for the hiring process and performance evaluations of Ultrasound staff.
• Act on behalf of the Imaging Center Manager when needed.
