Pipeline Development: Design, construct, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR, Athena) and distributed processing frameworks (PySpark / Apache Spark).12 Data Architecture & Warehousing: Architect and manage cloud data lakes and data warehouses (Amazon Redshift, Delta Lake, Snowflake) using star/snowflake schemas and partition strategies.12 Data Quality & Observability: Implement automated schema validation, data quality frameworks, monitoring, and alerting (CloudWatch, SNS) to ensure data integrity.12 Workflow Automation & Orchestration: Automate event-driven and scheduled data ingestion workflows using AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, or Apache Airflow.12 Performance Tuning & Cost Optimization: Optimize SQL queries, tune cluster performance, and implement cloud cost governance across storage and compute layers.12 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to translate technical requirements into production-ready data models
