Scope of Work1. Cut the Weight - Cisco.com and Splunk.comSupport the redesign and operationalization of Cisco's Cut the Weight program, establishing a scalable approach for continuously identifying, improving, consolidating, or retiring underperforming web content.
- Develop and manage the integrated CTW program plan across Cisco.com and Splunk.com.
- Coordinate definition of program criteria, thresholds, governance, exceptions, and decision processes.
- Establish workstreams, milestones, owners, dependencies, and execution cadence.
- Partner with Analytics and content stakeholders to identify and prioritize content populations for evaluation.
- Coordinate the initial evaluation and retirement of approximately 3,000 underperforming pages, with final targets informed by data analysis.
- Drive integration of CTW activities into standard publishing and content-management workflows so site-health activities become continuous rather than episodic.
- Coordinate implementation of more rigorous performance and content-health criteria.
2. Lifecycle Content ModernizationLead the cross-functional program to modernize lifecycle content experiences across Cisco.com, including EOL/EOS, CVD, collateral, HMP/MDF, and related content workflows.
- Document current-state lifecycle experiences, workflows, systems, dependencies, and pain points.
- Identify improvements that can be implemented in the short and medium term while longer-term platform capabilities are developed.
- Coordinate UX, IA, content, and component requirements for future data-driven lifecycle experiences.
