We are seeking an Implementation Consultant to join the Conversions Team, supporting client onboarding and migration activities through test, UAT, and go-live phases. This role combines technical implementation, environment coordination, and client-facing delivery, ensuring successful setup, testing, migration, and handover of solutions into live operation.
The successful candidate will work closely with clients, internal delivery teams, and support functions to manage environments, coordinate releases, triage issues, oversee migration rehearsals, and support production go-live.
Key Responsibilities- Manage environment setup, configuration, and connectivity for client implementations
- Coordinate deployment of application components and data into test environments
- Support and manage client UAT cycles, including planning, tracking, and issue resolution
- Triage defects raised during testing and coordinate with internal technical teams to drive resolution
- Organise and coordinate additional releases into test environments as required
- Obtain client acceptance and support progression through implementation milestones
- Manage data migrations, including dry runs and preparation for production cutover
- Set up and validate environment monitoring
- Execute and support go-live runbooks during implementation cutover
- Coordinate handover to Client Services / BAU support following successful deployment
- Act as a point of contact between the client and internal teams throughout the conversion lifecycle
- Ensure implementation activities are documented clearly and tracked to completion
Required Skills & ExperienceCore Skills- Experience in an implementation, conversion, onboarding, deployment, or technical support role
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience managing activities across test, UAT, migration, and go-live phases
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to triage defects and coordinate resolution
- Good understanding of environment management, application deployment, and release coordination
- Ability to work in a structured way using runbooks, checklists, and implementation plans
Technical Skills- Working knowledge of Linux
- Scripting experience with Bash and/or KornShell
- Familiarity with XML
- Understanding of IBM MQ
- Understanding of SFTP
