This is a full-time Lead RN Interventional Radiology position at Scripps Memorial La Jolla. Bonus Eligible Join our close-knit IR team where you will feel like part of the family. With approximately 15 cases/day, this hardworking team supports each other and works toward the common goal of the best patient care possible. Job duties to include:
• prep and recovery,
• minor procedures, and interventional procedures requiring moderate sedation.
• Schedule RNs daily/monthly
• Ability to train new staff
• Charge duties 3 days/wk
*New Hire Incentive of $4K and $3K Relocation if moving from 100+ miles. * The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:
• Internal candidates
• Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter
Qualifications Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing. Three years or more experience in nursing required.
- Minimum three (3) years RN experience
- standby call required, afterhours, weekends, and holidays
- Current CA RN License.
- Current BLS/ACLS. NIH certifications required upon completion of department orientation.
- Leadership experience required.
- ability to communicate effectively.
- critical thinking skills and ability to develop and implement standard work/process improvements
Required Certification/Registration:Current CA RN License, Current BLS-C provider
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: - 3 years IR experience
