Role Overview:This role is for a Lead Red Hat Linux Administrator, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong L3-level expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The position requires robust clustering knowledge, automation experience using Ansible, and working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide L3-level support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in mission-critical environments.
- Troubleshoot complex OS, performance, storage, network, and application-level issues.
- Manage and support Red Hat Cluster environments ensuring high availability and business continuity.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Automate system administration and configuration management tasks using Ansible.
- Implement system hardening, patching, upgrades, and security best practices.
- Work on system performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with application, network, storage, and security teams.
- Support cloud-based Linux workloads in AWS.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24x7 production support.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
Required Skills:- Strong L3-level expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
