Job Description:

The Role:

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking an ONSITE Lead Quality Engineer to join our Quality team. In this role, you'll support the development and execution of processes to ensure products and processes meet established standards. This role applies engineering fundamentals to perform data analysis, investigate quality issues, and implement corrective actions. Working cross-functionally, the Quality Engineer contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, enhances process capability, and helps maintain compliance with internal procedures and industry requirements. Participate in varying levels of engagement with customers and company teams on Problem Solving, Change Management, Customer and Internal Audits, Project Development, Product Support and Development Programs, as well as many other cross-functional tasks and projects that are aligned with Entegris and Customer goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead complex quality investigations, applying advanced analytical methods to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.


  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality procedures, inspection documentation, and performance metrics.


  • Support new product introductions by ensuring qualification activities and documentation meet customer and regulatory standards.


  • Conduct audits of production processes, equipment, tooling, and quality systems to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements.


  • Communicate quality issues, investigation results, and project updates to leadership, cross-functional teams, and customers.


  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.


  • Operate with high autonomy, determining technical approaches and executing work aligned with PACE values


What We Seek:

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience.


  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred


  • Demonstrated success with customer interface and the ability to transfer technical information.


  • Enhance relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with the subject matter often requiring persuasion. Adapts style to differing audiences and often advises others on difficult matters.


  • Experience consistently improving processes and applying quality tools and concepts consistently required for these improvements.


  • Complete knowledge and full understanding of area of specialization, principles and practices within a professional discipline. Assesses unusual circumstances and uses sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify causes. Resolves and assesses a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggests variations in approach. This job is fully qualified, experienced professional, journey-level position.


  • High discretion regarding leading activities leads to a higher impact on tasks and project outcomes.


  • Experienced with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). Proficiency in statistical software such as Minitab or JMP. Experience with camLine, EtQ, and/or SAP is preferred.


  • Knowledgeable or experience with Optical Comparator, CMM Measurement equipment, automated vision systems, calipers, gage blocks, mechanical test equipment.
