Quality Control Lead TechnicianPrinceton, NJJoin our Quality Control team and help ensure products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. In this role, you will perform laboratory testing, investigate quality issues, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist with new method implementation, and help maintain laboratory equipment and regulatory compliance. This hands-on position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Your key responsibilities- Perform routine and non-routine quality control testing using analytical and instrumental methods, ensuring accuracy, compliance with specifications, and adherence to regulatory, industry, and company standards.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and data records, including test results, inspections, non-conformances, and quality system transactions to support reporting, traceability, and compliance requirements.
- Lead investigations of quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs), including support for supplier quality investigations and resolution activities.
- Manage laboratory operations by overseeing equipment maintenance schedules, supporting implementation and validation of new testing methods and equipment, coordinating workflows to achieve throughput and KPI targets, and identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, management, and other stakeholders to resolve quality concerns, support laboratory CAPEX planning, train and mentor QC technicians, and participate in internal and external audits.
- Support overall laboratory and business operations through additional assigned responsibilities while meeting physical requirements that include prolonged standing, repetitive handling of samples and testing equipment, and maintaining a high level of focus and attention to detail during routine quality activities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years in quality control, with strong technical and procedural knowledge.

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $85,000 - $95,000.
