Full Job Description
The lead PET CT/Nuclear Medicine technologist works under the direction of a radiologist to perform specialized and routine radiographic Positron Emission Tomography/Computer Tomography (PET/CT) and Nuclear Medicine examinations as prescribed by physicians. The work is performed under the general direction of a radiologist with regard to the discretion of independent judgement in carrying out technical details of the work. At the direction of the Radiology Director and/or Assistant Director, the lead technologist oversees the technical staff in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT and the radiation safety programs of radioactive materials and radiation-emitting devices. They oversee and maintain programs to monitor the use of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation in the hospital health system, technical procedures, patient care and workflow to ensure safe and effective patient care and act as a role model and facilitator, working in collaboration with all levels of departmental personnel while maintaining high levels of customer service skills.

Salary Range: $42.50 - $62.50
