  • Ensure security for REST APIs and data exchanges across systems

Full Job Description
Overview

The Lead Information Assurance Specialist will oversee RMF implementation and continuous monitoring for JPES across containerized, cloud-hosted environments deployed in Azure and integrated with DISA C2FS DevSecOps pipelines. This role requires deep experience securing web applications, APIs, Kubernetes environments, and database systems within SIPR and IL6 environments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead RMF lifecycle activities in eMASS.
  • Implement and validate STIGs for:
    • RHEL
    • Kubernetes
    • Tomcat
    • PostgreSQL
    • Web application stacks
  • Oversee vulnerability scanning using ACAS/Nessus and application security tools (Fortify).
  • Integrate security findings into Agile sprint remediation.
  • Manage the POA&M lifecycle and coordinate risk acceptance.
  • Support ATO sustainment in multi-enclave cloud environments.
  • Support security for REST APIs and cross-system data exchange.
Qualifications

Required:

 

  • BA/BS degree in an Engineering discipline. Additional four years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
  • 10+ years IA/RMF in DoD environments.
  • Experience securing containerized applications.
  • Experience with DevSecOps security integration.
  • Experience with Azure IL6 and/or DISA-hosted environments.
  • Active Secret.
  • Security+ required; CISSP preferred.

 

Salary Range: $165K-$188K

 

This position is in the proposal stage. The above salary range represents a general guideline. Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
