As a Lead HR Technology Business Analyst, you'll help shape and optimize solutions across Recruiting, Onboarding, and HR Shared Services, turning business needs into intuitive, scalable experiences. You'll work at the intersection of HR, technology, data, and AI, partnering with global stakeholders to bring ideas to life, from requirements and solution design through testing, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. With platforms including SAP SuccessFactors, OpenText Service Management, and OpenText Aviator, you'll help evolve the future of HR technology while ensuring solutions are secure, well-governed, and built with the user in mind.

What You Will Do
  • Partner with HR stakeholders across Recruiting, Onboarding, and HR Shared Services to understand needs and translate them into clear requirements, user stories, and scalable solutions.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, process reviews, and solution validation with HR, IT, Data, Security, product teams, and vendors.
  • Support SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding, including workflows, data, configurations, integrations, and process improvements.
  • Support OpenText Service Management for HR Shared Services, including case management, intake, service catalogs, knowledge content, and employee self-service.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage OpenText Aviator and AI-enabled capabilities to improve HR service delivery and employee experiences.
  • Lead enhancement requests through intake, prioritization, design, testing, release, and post-launch validation.
  • Develop test scenarios, coordinate UAT, manage defects, validate solutions, and support business sign-off and production readiness.
  • Ensure solutions meet data privacy, security, access, governance, and responsible AI requirements.
  • Create documentation, training materials, knowledge articles, release communications, and support demos, training, and adoption activities.
  • Monitor feedback, adoption, service trends, and recurring issues to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and a more consistent HR technology experience.


What It Takes
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, or HR Technology professional supporting enterprise HR solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, preferably Recruiting and/or Onboarding.
  • Experience with HR service delivery, shared services, case management, request management, or employee self-service.
  • Strong experience eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
  • Experience with testing, defect management, release readiness, process documentation, and user adoption.
  • Understanding of HR data privacy, access controls, information security, and responsible AI.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with OpenText Service Management, OpenText Aviator, or comparable service management/AI-enabled platforms is an asset.
  • Experience with Agile delivery, product backlogs, IT service management, change management, or global HR technology environments is an asset.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we're happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $86,800 $130,200 CAD. Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
