  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure peer review is completed, and completion of all E-tables/Design Reviews are performed for all engineering disciplines.
  • Technical Activity Delegation: Assign and oversee technical activities across different engineering functions and disciplines.

Customer Interface & Technical Communication:
  • Primary Customer Technical Interface: Serve as technical lead for all customer engineering interactions, resolving technical issues directly (escalating to PM only when scope, schedule, or budget are affected).
  • Customer Approval Management: Drive customer approval of documentation and technical deliverables to maintain the project schedule.
  • Technical Submittal Coordination: Distribute and coordinate follow-up on customer comments for all engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, etc.) in coordination with the Document Controller.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identify technical risks and opportunities, working closely with the PM and Sourcing Project Leader.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong aptitude for planning, organizing, scheduling, assigning and evaluating the work of the assigned engineering team
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally across multiple functions and externally with project stakeholders
  • Ability to monitor the engineering budget and provide assistance to the project manager in controlling the budget.
  • Proven ability to lead, delegate and motivate the team
  • Risk identification and mitigation
  • Strong analytical skills to quickly assess obstacles and implement effective solutions
