Senior BIM Lead, Nuclear Infrastructure based in
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, responsible for leading digital delivery, BIM governance, and project information management across complex nuclear infrastructure programs. The role supports multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams operating within highly regulated project environments and requires oversight of digital standards, model coordination, and information workflows throughout the project lifecycle.
This position provides leadership across design, construction, handover, and operational phases, ensuring alignment of BIM processes, data management practices, and collaborative project delivery requirements. The role also supports client advisory services related to digital transformation, implementation planning, and organizational adoption of digital delivery methods.
The ideal candidate brings more than 10 years of experience delivering large-scale industrial, energy, or nuclear infrastructure projects, with demonstrated expertise in BIM leadership, regulatory compliance environments, multidisciplinary coordination, and digital project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead BIM governance and digital delivery strategy across nuclear infrastructure projects throughout design, construction, handover, and operational phases.
- Develop and implement BIM execution plans, information management procedures, and digital delivery frameworks.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary model integration, clash detection activities, and design review processes.
- Manage common data environments and document control workflows to support project information exchange.
- Conduct model quality assurance reviews and oversee digital deliverable compliance requirements.
- Support configuration management, traceability requirements, and interface coordination on regulated infrastructure projects.
- Provide digital advisory services including maturity assessments, roadmap development, and change management initiatives.
- Evaluate and recommend BIM technologies, workflows, and implementation strategies aligned with project objectives.
- Lead recruitment, mentoring, capability development, and technical training programs for BIM personnel.
- Collaborate with international engineering teams to standardize delivery methodologies and digital processes.
- Contribute to proposal development, technical submissions, and client presentations supporting business development activities.
- Promote data-driven project delivery practices that improve coordination, risk management, and project execution outcomes.
QualificationsRequired- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience supporting large and complex industrial, energy, or nuclear infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated BIM management experience including process development, implementation, coordination, model quality control, data management, and digital deliverables.

- Knowledge of nuclear industry requirements related to safety, traceability, configuration management, quality assurance, compliance, interface management, and document control.
- Strong leadership, team management, communication, and client management capabilities.
