Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer - Network to design, implement, manage, and optimize a large-scale enterprise network infrastructure supporting 350+ locations. This role focuses on high-performance WAN, LAN, wireless, and cloud connectivity, including MPLS, Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), point-to-point circuits, cloud interconnects, and secure VPN solutions.

The ideal candidate will lead advanced routing, security enforcement, network automation, and performance monitoring initiatives while ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry security standards. This position also plays a key role in cloud network architecture, proactive monitoring, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and optimize a scalable, highly available, and secure enterprise network environment
  • Architect and maintain MPLS, DIA, point-to-point circuits, and cloud interconnect solutions
  • Implement and support IPSec VPN tunnels for secure connectivity
  • Engineer advanced routing policies using BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, static routes, prefix lists, ACLs, and route maps
  • Design and manage enterprise wireless networks and access point infrastructure
  • Administer and support enterprise routing and switching platforms
  • Manage DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (DDI) platforms for resilient network services
  • Implement network access control and authentication frameworks (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+)
  • Monitor performance using SNMP-based tools and deep packet inspection platforms
  • Analyze traffic patterns, troubleshoot latency and packet loss, and resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Enforce firewall rules, NAT policies, and security segmentation
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory frameworks
  • Collaborate with security teams to monitor threats and strengthen network defenses
  • Automate network operations using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Optimize QoS, traffic engineering, and capacity planning initiatives
  • Design and manage hybrid cloud network architectures across major cloud providers
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks
  • Mentor engineers and support cross-functional technology initiatives
