Project Overview:

Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Job Summary:

Leads electrical field construction for an assigned area or facility on a large, complex project. Supervises craft activities, subordinate superintendents, and field teams to deliver safe, high-quality work in line with approved drawings, specifications, project procedures, schedules, and budgets. Coordinates with construction management, field engineering, safety, quality, subcontractors, other disciplines, and client representatives to resolve field issues, manage interfaces, and keep work progressing. #LI-CL1

Major Responsibilities:

  • Supervise electrical craft activities, subordinate superintendents, and field teams assigned to the electrical scope.
  • Plan workforce needs, coordinate area work plans, and schedule work to meet project priorities.
  • Review and assign installation work packages and manage installed quantity reporting for field verification.
  • Lead development and execution of detailed construction schedules for assigned electrical work.
  • Prepare and review progress reports, staffing forecasts, productivity updates, and cost/schedule information.
  • Develop and review construction methods, manning plans, material needs, and equipment requirements.
  • Coordinate electrical work with other disciplines, subcontractors, stakeholders, and client representatives.
  • Ensure current approved drawings and design changes are used before work is performed.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience [OR] 14-17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.


Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, installation sequencing, work packaging, testing, acceptance requirements, and applicable electrical codes, standards, specifications, vendor requirements, and project procedures.
  • Experience leading superintendents, foremen, craft professionals, and subcontractor interfaces on large construction projects.
  • Ability to manage workforce planning, productivity, schedules, installed quantities, and cost performance for electrical work.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety, ES&H, quality, and field execution requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, vendor documents, and technical documents; coordinate constructability issues, RFIs, field changes, testing activities, and engineering solutions.
  • Proficiency with construction automation, reporting, and work packaging tools used to plan, execute, monitor, and track field progress.
