Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Lead Electrical Designer in the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC/EPCM) | Industrial Engineering in Vancouver, British Columbia.

- $118000.00 - $160000.00 annually

A typical day:
- Lead the preparation and delivery of electrical design packages
- Develop equipment layouts, cable routing, grounding, lighting, and installation drawings
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to design team members
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
- Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and client meetings
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and industry standards
- Support project execution from design through construction and commissioning
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, safety, efficiency, and constructability
Successful candidates will have:
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Design, or a related discipline
- Bring significant electrical design experience within EPC, EPCM, or industrial environments
- Demonstrate previous experience leading design teams or acting as a discipline lead
- Possess strong experience supporting mining, oil & gas, chemicals, power, or infrastructure projects
- Apply expertise in electrical layouts, cable tray routing, grounding, lighting, and installation design
- Utilize AutoCAD and modern 3D design platforms such as AVEVA E3D, SmartPlant, or Revit
- Exhibit strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project environments
