The Role:

Ourcampus inAurora,IL(Two sites, Aurora Pads & Aurora Slurries)is seeking aContinuous Improvement(CI)LeadEngineer. The CI LeadEngineerwill play a critical rolein driving yield gainsacross thetwo sitesandassociatedsupplychain. Leveraging deepexpertisein process mapping,Six Sigma, Leanandhigh-impact transformations, this individual will ensure thatyieldsolutions are prepared for success,implementedand sustained. As a key contributor to theContinuous Improvementteam, thisEngineerwill help assessprocesses and KPIs across theAurora Campussitesand ensure improvement road maps are defined, executed, and sustained.This role will also coordinate with the larger CI community to share best practices and learnings todrivetheEntegrisWay mindset.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead ContinuousImprovementprojectsbyidentifyinghigh value losses (i.e.in yield, output, delivery, labor, scrap etc.),prioritizing,involving necessary resources, following structured approaches,deliveringand sustaining expected results within the committed timelines.

  • LeadContinuous Improvementstrategic initiative deployments:Develop and implementCIstrategies to streamline processes andeliminatewasteto drive Yield and process optimizations. Utilize methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to drive process improvements.

  • Assess and Optimize Processes:Conduct thorough assessments of current processes toidentifyinefficiencies and areas for improvement. Implement Lean principles tooptimizethese processes prior to digital transformation.

  • Collaborate Across Functions:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to ensure that Lean improvements are integrated seamlessly with digital technologies.

  • Drive Cultural Change:Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Provide training and support to employees to adopt Lean methodologies and new digital tools and processes.

  • Monitor and Measure Impact:Establishmetrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of Lean and continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze data toidentifytrends and areas for further enhancement.

  • Facilitate Workshops and Training:Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate employees on Lean methodologies and digital tools.

  • FacilitateContinuous Improvement Programs:Participatein and/or leadprograms around Skill gap resolution,Production Elements, Productivity AOP, 5S,Tier daily management (TDM), etc.

WHAT WE SEEK:

  • Minimum of 8-10yearsexperiencein a manufacturing environment driving Lean and Six Sigma programs across a large-scale and diverse manufacturing footprint

  • Experience in driving a lean before digitize mindset across the supply chain with a global team

  • Formal Six Sigma training and associated Lean, Blackbelt and SPC credentialsis preferred

  • Willing to travelbut less than 10%

  • Undergraduate degree in applicable field, engineering, computer science, business - information technology
