The Lead Agile Coach helps teams and leaders apply Agile principles, structures, roles, and practices to improve delivery flow, predictability, collaboration, and outcomes. This role supports Agile adoption by identifying and helping remove impediments, strengthening team practices, facilitating Agile learning, and improving the use of Agile reporting and tools. At the senior technical level, the role may own a complex Agile workstream or technical delivery area and provide peer coaching while operating with limited guidance.
Key responsibilities
Coach Agile teams and leaders on Agile principles, roles, practices, and team structures to improve flow, predictability, and outcomes.
Help identify and remove systemic impediments that limit team effectiveness, delivery flow, or adoption of consistent Agile ways of working.
Facilitate Agile workshops, training, and coaching sessions tailored to team roles and Agile maturity needs.
Support Agile reporting and tooling practices to improve transparency, delivery visibility, and continuous improvement.
Partner with Scrum Masters, product owners, delivery teams, technical project leaders, and stakeholders to improve delivery practices across technical initiatives.
Communicate Agile adoption progress, delivery risks, improvement opportunities, and recommended actions to project and functional leaders.
Mentor peers and team members on practical Agile behaviors, team facilitation, continuous improvement, and effective use of Agile ceremonies.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Experince supporting large scale enterprise Agile transformations
Master's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
10+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or a related field required.
Certification in SAFe SPC, CSM, PMP, PgMP, or equivalent preferred.
