Espaces Lokalia, a growing real estate firm, is looking to add a business and corporate lawyer to its team of professionals. In a dynamic work environment located at our Beloeil headquarters, the attorney will be responsible for handling various real estate transactional matters, among other things.

HERE'S WHAT YOUR DAY COULD LOOK LIKE:
  • Work in collaboration with other lawyers in the legal department on various business, corporate, and other related matters;
  • Prepare, intervene, and implement various corporate structures and legal documents in business law (resolutions, attestations, contracts, reorganizations, continuations, dissolutions, shareholder agreements, limited partnership agreements, mergers, acquisitions, notices, financing, etc.);
  • Draft, review, and revise various corporate and transactional documents in connection with financing transactions, real estate purchases/sales, partnerships, or any other document required in the real estate field in general;
  • Draft legal opinions/notices, attestations, confirmation of corporate structure (organizational chart, ultimate beneficiary), validity and capacity, identity verification, etc.;
  • Perform any other related tasks.


DO YOU HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS?
  • Hold a university degree in law;
  • Be a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec;
  • Experience and expertise in corporate, real estate, and commercial law;
  • Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Good technical and professional knowledge;
  • Strong autonomy, organizational skills, and planning;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and evolve in new environments;
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm;
  • Bilingualism - an asset;
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite and JurisConcept software.
